Money transactions via the internet unsecure

Active pioneer users of the internet know how important it is to transfer money to distant locations in order to keep really hardworking nerds alive and kicking. They have learned to trust distant people they only know via the internet.

Now that he internet is used by everyone, many people are worried about their personal safety now that there is so much power they have on their hands with the internet. That is where some financial corporation's come in and offer you 'protection' with extra verification. Market economy means you can choose which service you want to use. Not all of these corporations offer you the best service there is. For example the paypal service, based in Luxembourg.

I decided long time ago to use iDeal, a nice and safe system offered by several banks in the Netherlands. Besides, for purchasers the service is free. At stores where they do not have iDeal yet, I use normal credit card transactions. So I cancelled the paypal subscription.

To webstore holders, paypal promises to handle normal credit card transactions, also to persons who are not a member of paypal. That is the reason webmasters make use of paypal. However, paypal refuses to do normal credit card transactions for people that were formerly a member of paypal and cancelled their subscription.

The Dutch social movement always was keen on fighting as we call 'gedwongen winkelnering' (forcing people to buy products in one store). Now it is time to protest against paypal. Paypal is not the best service there is at the internet. So people should be free to decide to use another service.

There are more aspects to 'safety'. For active people it is important, that they can do international financial transactions and are not blocked for unethical and commercial reasons by a multinational corporation. This blocking of active people now is identified as one of the reasons that there is an economic recession we must overcome.

Once I was a member of paypal. I cancelled the subscribtion because it offers no extra service above what can be done with a normal credit card. Besides that, there is an excellent service in the Netherlands called iDeal.

I want to subscribe to your Gold service with a normal credit card, but paypal does not let me. The system says my credit card is linked to a service they offered. The system says paypal cannot be used without subscribing to paypal again. Which I do not intend. Note that I have paid all their bills and have sufficient credit with my bank credit card.

Please let me pay otherwise and press paypal as I do, not to force clients into a subscribtion. Ideal is popular in the Netherlands. As Wouter and I appreciate the voices you added to the Internet, we suggest to use the iDeal service, as your businesses in the Netherlands will grow.
